Hey, it’s Glen – Bali swimwear and fashion photographer. There’s something special about shooting on Seseh Beach; it’s quieter than the Canggu crowds, with that raw, laid-back Bali feel. Recently, I had the pleasure of capturing a warm tropical vibe session with the stunning international model Alexandra Pletnyova right at Warung Pantai on Seseh Beach.
Alexandra, the Russian glamour model with her striking light brown hair, brown eyes, and that effortless 5’10” elegance (repped by agencies like METRO Models and DNK), brings a magnetic presence. She’s got this natural glow and confidence that translates perfectly to camera – we’ve crossed paths in Bali before, and this shoot felt like a natural continuation of that creative flow.
We picked Warung Pantai for its authentic beachside charm: a family-run spot with sunbeds on the sand, ocean views, fresh seafood and drinks, and that perfect hidden-gem energy just west of Canggu. No fancy setups needed – the location provided golden-hour light, gentle waves in the background, black volcanic sand, and those relaxed warung vibes that scream tropical escape.
The concept was simple and warm: sun-drenched bikinis, flowing hair in the sea breeze, playful poses lounging on the beach, walking along the shore, and capturing that effortless, sun-kissed sensuality. Alexandra nailed it – relaxed smiles, natural movement, and those captivating looks that make the images feel alive and inviting. The warm Bali light wrapped everything in a soft, golden hue, highlighting the swimwear’s textures and her radiant skin.
Shoots like this at places like Warung Pantai remind me why Bali is unbeatable for tropical photography: authentic settings, no distractions, and pure island magic. The results?
