Hey, it’s Glen – Still buzzing from one of those afternoons that just feels right. No big production, no client deadlines, just me, two incredible Aussie models, and the sun doing its thing over Seminyak Beach. This was a pure creative collab with Shelby Green (@shelbygreen10) and Rebekah Leah (@rebekah__leah), chasing that late-afternoon golden sunset glow, and honestly, it was one of my favorite days behind the lens.
Shelby Green is that effortless Aussie stunner – tall, blonde, blue-eyed confidence with a sun-kissed vibe that’s impossible to fake. Repped by Que Models, Castaway Model Management, Nevs Models, and more, she’s got this playful, magnetic energy that lights up every frame. Rebekah Leah brings her own fire: bold, radiant, with that strong, natural presence (over 100k on Insta, owner of her own vibe, and always owning the beach). Together, they were electric – laughing, bouncing ideas, moving with the waves like they’d done this a hundred times.
Seminyak Beach in the late afternoon is pure gold. The crowds thin out, the light turns soft and warm, the sky fills with those impossible oranges and pinks, and the ocean reflects it all like liquid fire. We timed it perfectly for golden hour: sun low on the horizon, long shadows on the sand, gentle waves rolling in. No fancy setups – just the two of them in swimwear, flowing with the breeze, playful poses, walking the shoreline, splashing a little, and letting the light wrap around them. Wide shots to capture the endless beach and sky, close-ups on sun-kissed skin and smiles, and those candid moments in between where the real magic happens.
It felt so natural: music playing softly, the salt air, a few coconut breaks, and just trusting the light to do its work. The sunset painted everything in that warm, dreamy hue – the kind that makes skin glow, hair catch fire, and every frame feel alive. We wrapped as the sun dipped below the horizon, the sky turning deep purple, and we all just stood there for a second, soaking it in.
These creative collabs – no pressure, just good people and good light – are why I keep doing this. The images came out vibrant, empowering, and full of that Bali sunset soul. Can’t wait to share more from this one.
