Hey, Glen here – Bali fashion and lingerie photographer. After wrapping the ecomm portion of a big project, we transitioned into something more artistic: a clean, intimate lingerie campaign shoot for one of Bali’s leading garment manufacturers, PT King Trading (the powerhouse behind Swimwear Bali, Activewear Bali, and premium ladieswear production since 1993).
King Trading is a trusted name in Bali’s fashion scene – a full-service factory in Kerobokan producing high-quality swim, active, and ladies’ apparel (including lingerie and intimates) for global brands. They handle everything in-house with sustainable fabrics, tax-free imports via their Bonded KITE license, and a focus on fit, quality, and speed. This campaign was about showcasing their lingerie capabilities in a sophisticated, editorial way.
We kept the setup beautifully simple in my private Bali studio: a large painter’s canvas backdrop for that soft, textured neutral tone (no distractions, just subtle artistry), paired with a sleek white contemporary chair as the only prop. The minimalism let the lingerie – delicate lace details, smooth silks, flattering cuts, and luxurious fabrics – take center stage.
The model brought effortless grace and confidence, moving naturally through poses: seated elegantly on the chair, subtle reclines against the canvas, standing silhouettes with soft lighting that highlighted curves and textures. We used controlled studio strobes mixed with natural window light for a warm, flattering glow – clean lines, intimate close-ups, and empowering vibes without overcomplicating things.
The shift from straight ecomm (product-focused grids) to this campaign style felt refreshing: same high standards for fit and detail, but with an artistic soul that tells a story of luxury and sensuality. Perfect for King Trading to showcase their lingerie production expertise to brands looking for premium Bali manufacturing.
Results? Timeless, elegant images ready for lookbooks, client presentations, or editorial features – proving that simple setups in Bali can deliver big impact.
