Studio Magic: Ecomm Shoot for Australian Swim Label ELCE with Bali-Based Beauty Aisha Katerina
Hey, it’s Glen – Bali swimwear photographer checking in. Lately, I’ve been loving these clean, focused studio sessions that let the pieces and the model really shine. Just wrapped an ecomm studio shoot for the gorgeous Australian label ELCE Swim (elceswim.com), and it was one of those smooth, creative days that remind me why I do this.
ELCE is all about thoughtful, conscious women’s swimwear – elevated bikinis, one-pieces, and resort pieces designed in Australia with that perfect mix of elegance, ease, and a little edge. Made to last, flattering on real bodies, and ready for pool days or island escapes. Their vibe? Timeless yet bold – exactly the kind of collection that photographs beautifully in a controlled studio setup.
For this project, we brought in the stunning Aisha Katerina, a Bali-based model who’s become a favorite collaborator. With her natural glow, effortless posing, and that magnetic energy, Aisha brought ELCE’s pieces to life. We shot in my Bali studio: soft, even lighting to highlight fabric textures, clean background for pure product focus, plus a few subtle lifestyle angles to show how the suits move and feel.
We captured everything ecomm needs – front/back views, close-ups on straps and cuts, multiple angles per style – while keeping it organic and fun. Aisha nailed the relaxed confidence that ELCE embodies; no forced poses, just real moments between takes with good music, laughs, and the occasional coconut break.
These studio ecomm shoots in Bali are gold for brands like ELCE: consistent quality, no weather worries, and that warm tropical light sneaking in to add subtle depth. The final images are crisp, shop-ready, and true to the brand’s conscious-luxury feel.
