Just wrapped an absolute dream session with the amazing South African model Rachelle Van Waardhuizen for the vibrant Euro-Latin swim label Delmaar Swim at the lush, photogenic villa Casa Blooms in Pererenan, Bali.
Rachelle is pure fire: 5’10” of effortless grace, with her warm brown eyes, brown hair, and that confident, sun-kissed vibe she’s known for (repped by Boss Models Cape Town and Generation Models, plus a huge Instagram following). She’s got this natural charisma that makes every pose feel authentic – we’ve caught her in Bali before, and this time she brought even more magic.
Casa Blooms is one of those hidden gems in Pererenan (near Canggu’s cool scene but way more serene): Mediterranean-inspired architecture, blooming tropical gardens, light-filled open spaces, pools, and that fresh, airy feel perfect for swimwear. It’s got the ideal tropical retreat energy – palm fronds swaying, soft natural light pouring in, and plenty of private corners for creative shots without distractions.
We leaned into Delmaar Swim’s signature style: handmade Latin flair with crochet details, shiny fabrics, bold minimal cuts, and pieces that feel confident and sexy for beach-to-street adventures. Rachelle moved through it all so naturally – lounging poolside with golden-hour glow, playful walks through the gardens, subtle poses on sunbeds, hair flowing in the breeze, and those warm, inviting smiles that make the images pop. The tropical vibes were everywhere: lush greenery framing the bikinis, soft Bali light enhancing skin tones, and that effortless island sensuality shining through.
